MIOS(Marine Internet Operating System)

In today’s battlefield it’s imperative that information is relayed in the most efficient, most understandable format possible. That’s why we at MikeCo have developed the Marine Internet Operating System (MIOS). This common operating system framework takes all the confusion and ambiguity out of modern Information Technology systems. Critical time could be lost as our Marines Google what an “IP address” is or lookup information about ACL syntax. Instead of demanding this obscure knowledge from our Devil Dogs MikeCo instead presents this information in a Jarhead Readable Format (.jrf), developed by our own MikeCo engineering team and based upon our unique Marine Speak Translation API.

-Instead of “deny tcp host 172.16.1.1 host 192.168.1.1 eq 25″ they’d simply input “Kill their mail fired at me”.

-The always tricky “[y/n]?” prompt would be replaced with “[Yut/Oh Shit!]“.

-”Reload?” would be displayed as “Reload; make condition 4 router?”.
